In 1984, Allen and Jeanette Van Ravenswaay and family began a small feed sales and servicing business at their farm location on Beaconsfield Road, RR#2 Burgessville, primarily focused on the Veal Industry in South Western Ontario. The business grew to Feed Sales, Technical Services, Purchasing and Sales of calves for their Grain-Fed and Milk-fed customers throughout Ontario and Quebec.

Nature Feed Centre was formed in 1992 and a retail location was purchased at Holbrook. With this purchase, located approximately six miles south of Woodstock on Highway #59, came the Purina Feed Dealership serving local producers of all agricultural production segments; varying from small backyard hobby farms to the larger swine, dairy and beef producers.

The volume and sales grew in various aspects of the business; feed and supplies, livestock production and transportation. Expansions were made in both warehouse and office space in 2005 and again the existing warehouse was expanded including a feed bagging and tote line in 2010, to meet the requirements of the many different products offered to meet producer needs. The addition of Pioneer Seed Dealership and Distribution Point required a new warehouse built in 2011 equipped with seed treatment capailities.

In addition, this rural setting has provided the company with an array of dedicated employees who have greatly contributed to the success of Nature Feed Centre.
